What to Expect

Scenic Helicopter Flight and Landings

Depart from Queenstown on a breathtaking helicopter journey over the Southern Alps to Milford Sound for a scenic landing and short walk. Fly the full length of New Zealand’s most famous fiord, taking in sheer cliffs, waterfalls, and dramatic mountain scenery before touching down on an isolated West Coast beach. Return to Glenorchy with one final alpine landing along the way.

Break in Glenorchy

The Dart River Adventures team will meet you at the Glenorchy airstrip and take you on a short shuttle ride to Glenorchy township where you will have a 1-hour break to grab a bite at one of the local cafes of your choice*.
