Located approximately 85km from Queenstown, in a picturesque setting on the edge of Lake Whakatipu at the outlet of the Greenstone river, the Homestead offers the experience of being part of a working farm, and also a private retreat away the doorstep of a range of outdoor activities. Take the family for a walk up the Greenstone or Caples tracks, hire bikes, go fishing in the nearby Greenstone river, take a guided hunting experience on the Greenstone station, or simply relax in the woodfired hot tub with lake views – there’s something for everyone and plenty of opportunity to get in touch with nature.
